Help a child, transform a society

Water Filters Project

Access to clean drinking water is essential for children’s health, well-being, and academic success. At Bridge of Hope, we are committed to creating safer learning environments by addressing the urgent need for clean water in schools.

In partnership with No Thirty Child and Bridge of Hope, we are proud to share the success of our Water for Schools initiative. From 2023 to the beginning of 2025, we have provided water filters to 30 government schools 25 in Rwamagana and 5 in Kayonza ensuring that 36,027 students now have access to safe and clean drinking water.

In many schools, students rely on untreated water sources, exposing them to the risk of waterborne diseases such as diarrhea, cholera, and typhoid. These illnesses not only threaten children’s health but also contribute to absenteeism, making it difficult for them to focus on their education. By providing high-quality water filters, we are reducing these risks and creating a healthier school environment.

The Impact of Clean Water in Schools

✔ Clean water prevents waterborne diseases, keeping students healthy and reducing absenteeism.
✔ It supports hydration, boosting focus, energy, and academic performance.
✔ Clean water encourages proper hygiene, reducing illness spread in schools.
✔ Water filters provide long-term solutions, benefiting students, teachers, and the community.

These efforts go a long way in fostering a positive, healthier, and more productive school environment!

While we celebrate this milestone, there is still more work to be done. Many schools and children in rural areas continue to lack access to clean water. Join us in expanding this initiative your support can help us reach even more schools and ensure that no child has to struggle to find safe drinking water.
