Bridge of Hope takes your trust in us seriously. We understand the importance of protecting and properly using your personally identifiable information (PII). In order to preserve your trust, we want you to understand what PII we may collect from you when you visit our website and how we use such information. 


We collect personal identifying information from you when you place a donation, subscribe to our newsletter or blog, or fill out a form on our website. When donating or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information. We do not gather any personally identifying information about you when you visit our website, unless you choose to provide such information to us.


We use your personal information to conduct our business and to provide you with the best possible products and services. Your information will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested by the customer. Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one or more of the following ways:

To personalize your experience (your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs).

To improve our website in order to better serve you.

To quickly process your transactions.

To send periodic emails regarding product information and services, promotional events, or organizational updates.

We may, as needed from time to time, provide your information (including name, email address, billing address, donation amount) to trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. 


Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible. 

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of personnel working at Bridge of Hope who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.  All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers. Please note that email is not encrypted and is not considered to be a secure means of transmitting credit card information. 


We do not use cookies.


We work to comply with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) which puts parents in control for children under the age of 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 years of age without prior parental consent. If we become aware that an individual is under the age of 13 and has submitted any information to Bridge of Hope for any purpose without parental consent, we will delete his or her information from our files.


By using our site, you consent to our privacy policy.
